New Soft Grip Attacher Reduces Operator Fatigue

Paxar UK has unveiled the latest addition to its line-up of tagging guns.

The new SG, or soft-grip, Tag Attacher features what Paxar describes as a “revolutionary” design that incorporates the market’s first soft-to-the-touch, non-slip-rubber comfort grips that are molded into both the handle and trigger.

This patented soft grip is being claimed as a major step forward in user comfort and is expected to represent a significant advance in the reduction of operator fatigue.

The SG Attacher also incorporates a built-in wrist strap and, when not in use, a flexible guard that slips firmly over the needle for additional safety and protection.

The SG Attacher will run on either traditional 50-clip tagger tail fasteners or productivity-boosting 100-clip tagger tails, which means less time spent reloading.

Two models are available; a regular SG Attacher, which has a distinctive black handle, and a stone coloured SG fine fabric model for delicate and fine woven fabrics, along with a selection of regular and fine tagger tails that come in several sizes

The new SG Attacher has a proven internal mechanism with fewer moving parts than other models on the market, so offers greater reliability and is far less prone to jamming, thanks to the SG’s supported push rod.

Indeed, Paxar is so confident of the SG Attacher’s engineering and reliability that it comes with a full one-year warranty that means that, should any part of the tagger - other than the needle - break during the first year, it will be replaced with a brand new SG Attacher.
